AO Eureka is finished for the Friday of Anime North 2013! (Mostly. I still need the spirit gum, so I made do with masking tape for the photos until I get some). I’ll be her all day Friday, and I’ll probably have an Ao with me that day too! Most of the night we’ll be selling at Nomi in these costumes.

Do uh, do some people wanna calm down on the Naru hate over here? She’s fighting for the protection of the Scabs. We know she likes Ao at least a little bit, and yet she decides that since he won’t understand, she must go against him. She might even be denying a little piece inside of her that’s saying, ‘Stay with him, everything will work out somehow’ but she knows that Ao doesn’t understand her side of the story and feels like she’d be coddled too much should she side with him.

The Scabs are looking to communicate, and they’ve made a connection with Naru. They don’t wish to destroy, only to merge and learn more about humans. Naru stands to protect them against the Secrets and the Japanese government.

Also for the sake of the argument, it’s not proven that Naru herself tried to contact Ao in that dream-like vision he had when she kissed him in episode 16. First she was Eureka, and then she melted, and then she tried to persuade Ao by making a pass at him. In no way does this mean that she actually executed that: it’s Ao dreaming these up. If anything, the Scabs in general are probably trying to communicate with him. He’s worried about Naru, about his mother, about the Secrets possibly being allies. Mentally, he’s suffering.

In any case, I’m surprised at the amount of hate for the girl. 

Y’all need to calm down a little and take her perspective and knowledge into consideration.

After watching episode 12, the preview for it makes so much sense now. I mean everyone was speculating like ‘Who has silver wings? Wings like Eureka’s but turned silver? The wings of the Devilfish? Perhaps the wings of theEND supposedly lying below Gen Bleu Headquarters!’

NOPE.

Episode 9 of E7 AO was so goooooddd.

Honestly I think this show switches from like being awesome to being the most strangely-paced borefest sometimes, though. Like, last week’s episode? Ok, it had a good message, but damn was that a poorly-executed episode. ;A;

This week’s episode? Contained a lot of good stuff! Good messages, good action, good animation, and a few good laughs! And I’m SO glad it didn’t turn into a cliche beach episode.

I’m super excited for episode 10, especially to see what Ao’s all worked up about from the preview! That looked like some kickass animation.

I’m not the only one who’s like completely in love with Truth’s theme on E7: AO, am I?

It has that perfect blend of epic and creepy, Iunno.

I noticed this too while watching AO Ep 06.

Looking at Bruno’s shelf, we can see a bunch of old texts on Military tactics, a figure of the Medon and what looks to be a fighter-pilot’s helmet.

And then I was like, ‘Oh, look at that! He’s got some Blu-Rays!’

So then I read those and I’d like to focus on this title.

Because I’m in hysterics over it. 

So I just realized Georg from E7: AO is an AI.

For the longest time I thought he was literally someone else who just hadn’t shown their face for personal reasons.

But then I paused at this moment.

For Ivica it says ‘Com: Triton’ and for Georg it says, ‘Com: AI’

Derp.

(Well now Georg is an awesome AI).
