If someone wants to direct me to a link to the Glee ‘Phantom’ episode, that’d be swell.

I wanna see if its really that bad.

I’m already kind of wtfing over hearing that Kurt is the Phantom. So yeah; link me. Somebody.

Phantom of the Opera 30 Day Challenge: Day 10

10. You’re OTP and why?

The Phantom/Erik and Christine

It’s difficult to back this one up, to be honest. In a lot of versions, the majority of their romance is out of pity for the Phantom. However at the end of these versions, we do see the good side that Erik shows by allowing Christine to go with Raoul; the whole ‘if you love someone, let them go’ thing, right? Obviously I feel unimaginable pity for Erik and to see him experience love for the first time is an amazing dramatic story to experience myself, but I want to say that there’s always something more besides the pity. (Love Never Dies doesn’t count, though I do enjoy it quite a gosh darn bit xD). I unfortunately can’t back that bit up besides using Erik’s decision to let her go, but Erik and Christine together are just… great. :’3 OTP likely forever.

At first I was kind of hesitant on whether or not I liked Ramin’s take on singing his rendition of ‘All I Ask of You’ because he looked almost maniacal in the scene. With the song being tragic and romantic, I was expecting a sort of wounded puppy view about it, but now that I think about it, he already did the wounded puppy when she removed his cloak to reveal his masked face. Like, something that enabled him to return to his reality and run away to hide himself, when suddenly he stops and realizes that he still has a chance; an ace up the sleeve, so the speak: the song and the ring.
With all that analyzed, this seems like a much more believable reaction to me and I love it. The transition between scared of reality and taking hold of his wish is exactly what the Phantom would to, from my view. Absolutely crazy, but still romantic. Aw Ramin :’3
