Amidst a lot of the complaining over the new update, please tell me I’m not the only one who appreciates the photoset update for the simple fact that now I don’t have to download an addon that makes it possible for me to make photosets of one photo/GIF under the other, and I don’t need to use an old version of Chrome anymore (because thats what I had to do for that dumb little addon that made sets look cool). 

I JUST HAVE TO MOVE THEM NOW.

I uh, I think I slept through it.

Everytime some new fad comes in on Tumblr, I notice it arrives in steps.

Step 1: After experiencing the fad, people reblog the hell out of it

Step 2: After reblogging a lot, people sometimes make their own edits of it and post it on Tumblr

Step 3: Drool over and idolize it like there’s no tomorrow

Step 4: If there’s a certain character in it that everyone loves, he/she is worshipped as the hottest or cutest person in the world to fans.

Step 5: Eventually it dies down for awhile, but then resurfaces and the cycle starts all over again.

Not to say that this is a bad thing, but I’ve literally seen this every time a new fad has come across my eyes. To be honest I find some of the steps kind of strange. I would consider myself in a good number of fandoms, and I have favorite characters, but it’s only been a few instances when I’ve considered someone hot or cute.

This just sort of sparked in my mind since a bunch of Avengers posts have been rolling in. Don’t get me wrong, I love Loki absolutely to bits because I love what his character has gone through, and sure I’ll acknowledge that Hiddleston is good-looking, but like… I feel like I’m on some slowly fading side of the Loki fans who just don’t find him hot.

I think he’s amusing.

I love the tragedy he’s gone through.

I like his mischievious personality.

But that’s it.

And then of course there’s the idea of suddenly seeing the fans drooling after Avengers released.

I mean, he was in Thor. I saw no drooling then.
