Just finished putting up some posters and reorganizing my manga + DVDs since Anime North, so I thought I’d make a video of my stuff (I’ve got a few more small things like keychains and stuff in my closet, but I was too lazy to grab ‘em).

It’s probably going to look a bit self-centered possibly, but hey would anyone be interested if every so often I made some posts of anime I’d recommend according to genre (using a Read More tag naturally so as not to bombard people)? So like one day I’ll just make a post of Anime Reccs for Romance, then do a Read More thingy and list a bunch I’d recommend without spoilers.

Iunno I’ve gotten some asks asking what anime I like and I think it would be kinda neat to make. ‘Course there’ll probably be some overlap (like E7 will probably be listed twice for Romance and Mecha since both are so integral to the show) but I’ll try to avoid overlap and focus on prominent themes.

And then maybe if I finish a new show, I’ll just kinda naturally recommend it or something since that’s what i mostly do anyways. Except in more detail this time around. And with a Read More tag.

I wish the world could be as gorgeously picturesque as a KyoAni show.

One of the girls at our Uni’s Anime Club had this neat idea of makin’ cupcakes and cutting out anime characters from shows the club has watched this year to stick on top of ‘em. I hadn’t been to Anime Club for a couple of months but I mean helping make cupcakes is kind of an awesome thing regardless.

And there was one with Kamina on top of a cupcake and even though I couldn’t eat the cupcakes I wanted that mini Kamina cutout so bad ugh I think someone sniped it

My Dad and I have been doing this for about 3 or 4 years, where I type up a Christmas wish list of sorts and he responds with fun snark in red pen. (Most of my own comments are typed in good fun. And any recommendations are only cause you can’t find good animu stuff locally).

Still the best Christmas tradition we’ve had.

Sometimes I wonder if there’s an agony greater than waiting for an anime movie to release subtitled online.

So after probably almost a year of work, Disney MEP III is finally all compiled in it’s entire duration of 67 minutes (by the incredibly-devoted CodeZTM, as he deserves a big hug for putting all of our tracks together and editing a few tracks himself!) We all had a blast making our tracks.

And, if anyone’s interested at all, I’ve got two tracks in here. ^^; First one is with Eureka seveN to ‘Love Will Find a Way’ from The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, and it’s from 40:03 - 42:52. The second one is with Planet ES with ‘A World Without Fences’ from Lady & the Tramp II: Scamps Adventure, and it’s from 45:41 - 47:45.

Anyways, pop some popcorn, grab a drink and enjoy!!
